Opening day of service to Silverton

Bicyclists race the train to Silverton.

July 4th, 2008: Independence Day Express

October 3: Cowboy Poet Train
Celebrate Durango Cowboy Gathering’s 20th Anniversary! Enjoy cowboy poetry and entertainment along the train route and at the Cascade Pavilion. Please call for details and reservations.
October 11: Durango Heritage Train
Scheduled as part of the Durango Heritage Celebration event, this train will travel to a location just north of Durango, where a staged robbery will take place, and then travel back to Durango. Train is reserved for those dressed in Victorian attire only. Please call for details and reservations.
