During the journey to Silverton, you will hear poems and songs that will bring tears to your eyes and keep you in stitches. You have three options for this train:  Roundtrip Train, Bus up/Train Back or Train Up/Bus Back.  The choice is yours!

Join us for a very special Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge diesel train excursion to Silverton, Colorado! Durango Cowboy Poetry Gathering entertainers will be performing onboard on designated coaches during the excursion to Silverton. Hear the music, poetry, stories and yes, a few tall tales of the West!

All trains have a concession car with a variety of light snacks available for purchase. Or discover a sweet spot in Silverton to enjoy lunch during your 2 hour layover in this historic mining town.

2024  ROUND TRIP SCHEDULE:
Depart Durango 8:15 a.m.
Arrive Silverton 11:45 a.m.
Depart Silverton 2:00 p.m.
Arrive Durango 5:30 p.m.

For bus/train option, buses depart Durango at 9:30am and 10:15am and depart Silverton at 2:45pm arriving back in Durango at 4:15pm.

Parking lot fees are $10.00 for a car, truck or motorcycle and $20.00 for an RV, bus, trailer or any vehicle utilizing more than one standard parking space. Per city ordinance, there is no overnight camping allowed in the lot.
You can not bring your own alcoholic beverages on board.
